1. Reason for change:
This change order reconciles contract changes on the MAX BRT Train and Gate Notification contract through
April 7, 2015. This change order is supported by work change directives describing each change authorized
on this contract. Work change directive 1 is hereby incorporated by reference.
2. Description of Change:
This change order includes changes to the contract to address access and remote capabilities at all MAX
gates by adding equipment and wiring. Gate installation at the South Transit Center (STC) was completed
after the NTP was issued for the MAX Train Notification and Gate Operation project.
3. Change in Contract Cost: $6,116.64
4. Change in Contract Time: 1 18 calendar days for substantial completion

The following additions, deletions, or revisions to the Work have been ordered and authorized:
Description of Work:
(Title of WCD): STC Gate Operation - Wiring Connection
This Work Change Directive (WCD) directs the Contractor to price and, if accepted, install the following:
Contractor to procure and install 7 conductor shielded 18 gauge wire from STC gate, through Vault
1 at corner of Fossil & Fairway, into Vault 2, east of the STC MDF room, and then terminate at
equipment inside the MDF room. Approximate length of wire is 1000ft.
2. Contractor to install Owner provided DIN Rail, MOXA SPL 24-T POE Splitter, and MOXA E1214-
T I/O Relay.
3. Contractor to procure and install DC Breaker.
4. Contractor to coordinate startup and testing of this gate with the Engineer.
The work shall include supplying equipment, labor, and mateirals to perform the work according to the MAX
BRT Gater Operation & Train Notification project specifications and approved submittals.
The gate installation at the STC has just been completed. Adding the equipment and wiring to this gate will
allow Transfort to have access and remote capabilities at all MAX gates.

It is understood that this Work Change Directive may change the Contract Price and/or Time, and is evidence that the parties
expect a Change Order request for approval to subsequently follow this Work Change Directive,

NetCom Cabinet: (provide specified equipment or equivalent):
APC 2200 UPS shall be installed in cabinet to provide battery backup power
for the South Transit Center.
An ADC fiber patch panel shall provide fiber connectivity for the South
Transit Center.
Contractor shall provide ADC FL2000 fiber patch panel and LC pigtails.
Two power strips shall be mounted on back of cabinet.
Transfort Cabinets: (provide specified equipment or equivalent):
Cable management: Some on front and some on back
Two Power Strips shall be mounted along the back of each side of each
cabinet.
APC 1500 UPS shall be installed in both Transfort cabinets.
All three cabinets shall have two 200 Amp, 110 volt AC quad electrical outlets,
each on separate circuits.
The adjacent side panels of the Transfort cabinets shall be removed and the
-cabinets shall be connected together.

The designated radio data cables shall be terminated on a dedicated 24-port
Category 6 copper patch panel in the middle cabinet. The designated GPS
clock data cables shall be terminated on a 24-port Category 6 copper patch
panel located in the middle cabinet. Category 6 network cables for Video
Surveillance Cameras shall be terminated on a dedicated 24-port copper
patch panel in the NetComm cabinet.
A separate enclosed cable management system shall be installed between
the NetCom cabinet and the Transfort cabinets.
To provide cable management for the structural Category 6 cable coming
into the ER/MDF closet, an enclosed cable management system shall be
installed to provide a cable route to the copper patch panels located in two
of the three cabinets. Cable entry into the top of the cabinet shall be
designed to mitigate overhead water damage.

1 — Netcomm cabinet — This cabinet will be physically separated J
from the Transfort cabinets. The lock on the door will be keyed
differently than the Transfort cabinets
2 - Transfort cabinets —These cabinets will be populated with the

Three cabinets shall be installed in the ER/MDF closet.
1 —Netcomm cabinet —This cabinet will be physically separated
from the Transfort cabinets. The lock on the door will be keyed
differently than the Transfort cabinets
2 -Transfort cabinets —These cabinets will be populated with the
Transfort's identified systems.
All three cabinets shall have two 20 Amp, 110 volt AC quad electrical
outlets, each on separate circuits.
An electrical ground as defined by building codes shall be provided on
a 6" bar mounted 6" above the finished floor. This grounding bar shall
be connected to building steel (main building ground electrode), a
separate concrete -encased electrode, or a buried ring ground with 00
copper wire using a short feed to the actual ground.
There are two options for the flooring. One option is for the a sealant to
be applied to the concrete floor or aanti-static vinyl compositional file
will need to be installed.
On the north wall, a'/:' A-C plywood board shall be securely mounted
to the wall. The plywood board shall be mounted horizontally and
painted white in color.
A key fob reader shall be installed on the door leading into the ER/MDF
closet.
Two conduits coming in from the West fiber optic vault shall be 4" in
diameter. One conduit coming in from the East fiber optic vault shall
be 4" in diameter. All three conduits shall extend a minimum of 2"
above the floor space.
Two 2" conduits shall be run independently to two separate
waterproof junction boxes on the roof of the building in a direct line for
use with communication devices mounted on the roof.
A separate earth ground shall be provided at the roof junction box
point and the conduit shall be grounded separately from the ground in
the equipment room. A 1" conduit terminating in a weatherproof
duplex box shall be provided from the roof to the closet electrical
panel for electrical power.
