REGIONAL AIR QUALITY COUNCIL
March 2, 2015
Mr. Darin Atteberry
City Manager
City of Fort Collins
300 LaPorte Avenue
Fort Collins, CO 80521
Dear Mr.Atteberry:
Enclosed please find an invoice for the City of Fort Collin's 2015 contribution to the Regional Air
Quality Council's work program. We sincerely appreciate your funding support and we look
forward to working with City of Fort Collins as we address our regional air quality challenges.
In 2015 the RAQC's work program will again focus on three primary areas: 1) performing
technical and strategy analyses and conducting outreach to develop plans and programs to
bring the region into compliance with tougher federal ozone pollution standards; 2) reducing
harmful emissions from cars, trucks, buses and off -road engines in the region through
cooperative funding efforts with public and private fleets; and 3) assisting local governments
with implementing air quality programs and practices. In 2015 the RAQC will begin the process
of preparing the underlying technical analysis for an ozone attainment plan that will be
submitted to EPA in the next three years.
We stand ready to assist the City of Fort Collins in any way we can with air quality issues
confronting your community by providing technical and information assistance. We would also
welcome the opportunity to meet with your City Council to discuss air quality issues and the
work of the RAQC.
Thank you again for your support for the Regional Air Quality Council. Please do not hesitate to
contact me if you have any questions or need more information.
Sincerely,
nneth H. Lloy
