Project Description: The schematic design phase for Linden Street includes
investigation of concepts and desipm alternates to connect the Old
Town Square themes -through Linden Street on to the River
District. "Hybrid" street concepts are to be investigated through
stakeholder engagement using interactive design charreites
Scope of Services See attached as "Attachment A"
The Professional agrees to perform the services identified above and in the attached forms, in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and the Professional Services
Agreement ('PSA").between the parties. In the event of a conflict between or ambiguity in terms
of the PSA and this Work Order Form (including any attached forms), the PSA shall control.
The attached forms, consisting of 4 (four) pages,.are hereby accepted and incorporated herein by
reference, and Notice to Proceed is hereby given.

This Agreement and Authorization for Landscape Architectural Services between studlolNSITE, LLC
(Consultant) and Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority (Client) was determined by Jim
Leggitt as requested by Todd Dangerfield, Project Manager, Fort Collins Downtown Development

SI Project a 14-056.1: Fort Collins Linden Street Planning
This Proposal for Planning and Landscape. Architectural Basic Services, effective as of
September 1, 2014,'between the Client and studiolNSffE LLC, for the Fort Collins Linden
Street PlanningProject. This project involves the conceptual design and visualization of the
renovation of the single block of Linden Street between Walnut Street and Jefferson Street.
Overall project tasks include research, base mapping, charrette coordination, stakeholder
field trip to Fillmore Plaza in Denver concept design charrette, team meetings, visualization
graphics and presentations.
Article 1: Scope of Work
The overall scope for the Fort Collins Linden Street Planning Project will include the following
tasks:

Task 1.0 Kickoff, Base Mapping and Research (bctober.2014)
This task involves information gathering, developing an AutoCAD base map tied to the civil
survey, case study research, kickoff meeting and -
Deliverable: Case studies of similar hybrid streets, base SketchUp model, autoCAD base.
Task 2.0 Pre-Charrette Coordination Meeting (October 2014)
This task Involves four meetingstocoordinate and plan the charrette and stakeholder field
trip to Fillmore Plaza in Denver.
Deliverable: N/A
Task'3.0 Concept Design Charrette (November 2014)
This involves team design charrette over the length of three days to, generate all conceptual
ideas for envisioning Linden Street as a hybrid events street. The charrette would take place
on day one from 4pm-7pm, day two from 8am-6pm, and day three from gam-2pm.
Attendees would Include studiolNSITE, DDA staff, stakeholders and other Invited. Individuals
and organizations having direct involvement with Linden Street.
Deliverable: Sketches, plans and diagrams typically generated in charrettes of this nature
and length. '
Task 4.0 Post Charrette Visualization and Graphics (November 2014)
studiolNSITE will continue to develop sketches,'renderings, plan graphics and other material
necessary to communicate the preferred concept.
Deliverable: Eye -level and aerial level perspectives, narrative and plan graphics.
Task S.0 Weekly Team Meetings (October/November 2014)
studiolNSiTE will attend coordination meetings pertaining to the Linden Street project that
will be combined with already scheduled team meetings for the renovation of Old Town
Square,
Deliverable: N/A
Task 6.0 Presentations (November 2014)
studiolNSiTE will attend and lead stakeholder presentations as requested by the DDA Board
of Directors, City Council, LPC and other organizations.
Deliverable: N/A
Article 2: Client's Responsibilities
A. Client agrees to provide studiolNSITE -with all information, surveys, reports, and
professional recommendations and any other related items requested by studiolNSITE
In order to provide Its professional services. studiolN51TE may rely on the accuracy and
completeness of these Items.
Article 3: Estimated Schedule and Project Budget

A. studiolNSITE shall render its services as expeditiously as Is consistent with professional
skill and care. During the course of the Project, anticipated and unanticipated events.
may impact the Project schedule.. Design schedule is to be determined but atthe time of
this proposal it is anticipated that final deliverables will be completed on or before.
December 15, 2014.
B. As of the date of this Agreement, the Owner's Project budget Is established at
approximately $30,000.00 (thirty thousand. dollars). Client agrees to promptly notify
studDINSITE If there is a budget change or project schedule change. Client
acknowledges that significant changes to the Project or construction schedule or budget
or to the Project's scope may require Additional Services of studlolNSITE.
Article 4: Compensation and Payments
A. Client agrees to pay studiolNSITE as follows:
1. Basic Services: Hourly not to exceed based on work performed.

C. Reimbursable Expenses
Reimbursable expenses will be paid at a cost. Full back-up documentation will be
submitted for all reimbursable expenses. An estimate of the total reimbursable
expenses for SI scope of work is noted above.
D. Billing
Fees will be invoiced hourly not to exceed based on the work performed.
E. Payment
Payment is due within thirty(30) days net per the Master,Services Agreement upon
receipt of payment from Owner.
