As per your email, the City of Fort Collins wants group pricing for ITILO Foundation
training onsite. A 3-day session of up to zo attendees would be delivered at your office
on 4-6 February 2015.
In this proposal, I have provided turnkey pricing that includes instructor travel,
accommodation and per diems. Online exams and hardcopies of our 533-Page student
manual are also included for all attendees.

Course Profile - ITIL@ Foundation
What is ITIL@ Foundation?
ITILO Foundation is an entry level certification for IT managers which offers attendees a
general awareness of the key elements, concepts and terminology used in the ITIL@
service lifecycle. The stages of this lifecycle include:
Service Strategy
Service Design
Service Transition
Service Operation
Continual Service Improvement (CSI)
In this course, we explore the links between lifecycle stages, the processes used and
their contribution to IT service management (ITSM) practices.
Why Take It?
Attendees can expect to gain a general overview and understanding of ITIL@. Key topics
for discussion include:
• Reasons why an organization should follow ITILO best practices.
• The organizational impact of a best practice implementation.
• ITILO terminology and definitions.
• Adopting and adapting ITIL@ principles.
• The benefits and pitfalls of a best practice implementation.
• ITILO success stories.
Successful attainment of the Foundation certificate also fulfills the prerequisites for
moving up to the ITILO Intermediate Level.

Are There Any Prerequisites?
There are no mandatory prerequisites although experience in IT or related fields is
beneficial.
How Many Attendees per Session?
Up to zo attendees.
Which Course Materials are Provided?
Each student is provided with hard copies of SMME's ITILO Foundation Student Manual
consisting of presentation slides, corresponding notes and 8o sample exam questions.
What Does It Take to Get Certified?
To obtain the ITILO Foundation certificate, attendees must pass a qo-question, 6o-
minute, multiple-choice exam.
The passing score is 65% or 26 out of qo questions must be correct.
Can Professional Development Units (PDUs) Be Earned?
Attendees of this course earn 21 PDUs toward PMI's Continuing Certification
Requirements (CCR) program.
Can Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours Be Earned?
Attendees of this course earn 22 CPE hours toward ISACA's CISA, CISM, CGEIT and CRISC
certification requirements.

Customer Responsibilities
For training sessions hosted onsite, the Customer must arrange for:
• A meeting room with tables in a u-shape configuration.
• Catering and refreshments.
• A projector with screen for displaying the course slideshow.
