Hello Rick,
Rout House Studin is extremely excited to be helping the Fort Collins Natural Areas Department tell the
story of ecological restoration on the Cache La Poudre River. We envision creating a beautiful, short film (3-5
mins) that combines live action timelapse footage of the restoration with animation. We will enhance the live
action footage, by using animated sequences to create multiple lenses (e.g, landscape scale, cross section,
under water, etc.) through which the viewer can experience the restoration process. These. sequences will
reveal those invisible or hidden details and processes that will help the viewer understand the "how" and
why" behind the restoration process.
Scope of work:
Task 1- Facilitate akick-off meeting and storyboard session with Natural Areas staff
Task 2 - Review existing materials
Task 3 - Develop draft script if it is determined a voice over is needed
Task 4 - Refine script based on staff comments (if needed)
Task 5 - Create Look and Feel document and draft storyboard
Task 6 - Refine story"boerd and Look and Feel based on Natural Areas staff comments
Task 7 - Create rough cut and animatic (art direction, video editing, post production, color correction,
animation, lower third design, rough sound design)
Task 8 - Develop SO%video based on Natural Areas staff comments (rough cut and partial animation)
Task 9 - Develop 90%video based on Natural Areas staff comments (fine cut and full animation)
Task 10- Develop FINAL video based on Natural Areas staff comments (refined animation, sound, and post
production, Full HD render)
Deliverables:
1. Storyboard andLook/Feel
2. Script (if needed)
3. Voice artist auditions (if needed)
4. Final voice over (if needed)
S. 50%video .(film rough cut, animatic, draft score)
6. 90%video (film fine cut, post production, score, 90% animation, sound effects)
7. Final video (delivered in Full HD, and any other formats required)
Root House Studio will create the above, described video for a total budget of $5,000.
