Services Agreement
This Amendment (Amendment) is entered into by and between The Board of Governors of the Colorado
State University for the Benefit of the Institute for the Build Environment (the "University") and the City
of Fort Collins, Colorado (the "City").
WHEREAS, the University and City have mutually entered into a Services Agreement dated August
26, 2014 (the "Agreement'); and ,
WHEREAS, the City desires to expand the Scope of Services; and
WHEREAS, Contractor agrees to extend the Scope of Services;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals and the mutual promises herein
contained, the parties agree as follows:
1. Scope of Services. The Scope of Services, Exhibit A is amended to include the following additional
task and deliverable:
Task 5. Assist with CAP strategies for Land Use and Carbon Sequestration
Provide technical assistance with developing strategies to reduce GHGs under the heading of "Land Use
and Carbon Sequestration". This includes working with City staff to research additional smart growth
tools and techniques that are not already implemented by the City, researching strategies that other
municipalities have included in their climate action plans, researching innovative projects that the City
could consider with regards to carbon sequestration. This task includes assisting with two meetings of the
Citizen's Advisory Committee — subcommittee on this issue, developing model inputs in early November
and model iterations in December. This task includes coordinating with the Forestry department on their
inventory initiative and the Planning dept. on the Nature in the City initiative. Timeframe is November
2014 through January 2015, for services to be billed as time and materials in an amount not to exceed
$10,000.
Except as expressly amended by this Amendment, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain
in full force and effect.
