The scope of work includes the items described below. Delivery of 6 loads of custom mixed sand/topsoil and 7 loads of standard topsoil. Each load is approximately 20 CY for a total of 260 CY. Hageman Earth Cycle will supply and deliver the topsoil. Install the custom sand/topsoil first to fill the voids in the riprap and then install the standard topsoil to cover the riprap. Roberts Excavation will use a 938 loader to move the topsoil to the top of bank and a 328 trackhoe to place the topsoil on the riprap. Roberts will also supply workers to wash the sand/topsoil into the riprap, rake the standard topsoil evenly over the riprap, and rake the broadcast native seed mix into the topsoil. We will use the same native seed mix that Natural Areas installed on the fioodplain at Sterling. Apply hydromulch with a bonding agent to stabilize the topsoil slope. This will provide appropriate stabilization of the slope over the winter. We will be careful to minimize construction equipment and haul trucks disturbance on site especially at the newly seeded construction staging area. Our fee to conduct the additional work will be on a time and materials basis in accordance with our 2014 contract rates, with an estimated not -to -exceed budget of $15,000. Thank you for your consideration of this request and for the opportunity to continue to assist you on this project. If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at (303) 477-0660. Sincerely, Claudia Browne, Project Manager
