HomeMy WebLinkAboutPrebid - BID - 7664 FOSSIL CREEK TRAIL UNDERPASS AT TRILBY ROAD1 Fossil Creek Trail Underpass @ Trilby Road PRE-BID MEETING NOTES Thursday, July 10, 2014 Project Location Scope of Work The Work includes the following:  erosion control and permitting  traffic control including road closure and detours  excavation, grading and embankment  installation of CBC underpass w/ head & wing walls  2 steel pedestrian bridges and abutments  tunnel lighting system  storm sewer culvert pipe  colored concrete trail paving  water mainline relocation work  asphalt removal and paving  guardrail installation  utility relocation/coordination  fence installation  seeding and restoration 2 Access, Staging & Traffic Control North Side of Trilby Easement area with fence delineation South side of Trilby Stay within limits of disturbance area Access, Staging & Traffic Control – 38E North shoulder area Easement area delineated by existing fencing Other Areas Possible Maintain Limits of Disturbance 3 Access, Staging & Traffic Control Access, Staging & Traffic Control  Full Closure of Trilby Road (as shown in plans) will be allowed for 15 consecutive days - Refer to section 01010 for details.  Detour route is schematic for bidding purposes only  Traffic Control for the project will be paid for Lump Sum and will include all costs for all traffic control associated with the project for the full duration of the project. 4  FCLWD Waterline Relocation - by Contractor  PSCO Gas Line Completed by Utility  CoFC Elec. Line Completed by Utility  Cable/Phone Completed by Utility Utility Coordination & Relocation Road Closure for Trilby Road  Full Closure of Trilby Road will be allowed for 15 consecutive days – Refer to section 01010 for details  Closure dates subject to approval by the City  All Traffic Control Plans and approvals per City requirements  $2,500/Day Lane Rental Fee accessed 5 Colorado Stormwater Discharge Permit – Permit by City and reassigned to Contractor at Notice to Proceed. Erosion Control for the project will be paid for Lump Sum. It will include any and all costs for erosion control, maintenance, adjustments and compliance associated with the project for the full duration of the project. The following permits are required, but may not be all inclusive:  R.O.W. Use Permit (from City of Fort Collins) – Acquired by the OWNER  Colorado Stormwater Discharge Permit – Acquired by the CONTRACTOR,  City of Fort Collins Flood Plain Use Permit – Acquired by the OWNER  C.O.E. Nationwide Permit – Acquired by the OWNER Contractor is responsible for all permits required for this Work and the expected times required to obtain permits.
