College Avenue West Access Drive Additional Service Request #1 Dear Kyle, Please accept this request for additional services in the amount of $4,480 for the West Access Drive project based on our previous discussions. Summary The Interwest Team provided additional services as further described below to include stormwater management design services. Additional Services Task 1—Stornnvnter Management: Interwest was requested to design a storm drainage retention pond on the existing City of Fort Collins property west of N College just south of the Brew Property to offset the flows in the existing Dry Creek pipe network to N. College Avenue. This pond was intended to alleviate flows to the mainline system within N College while providing water quality for the proposed west access road with the understanding that there was no viable outfall to discharge runoff from the pond. Upon review of the retention pond design, city stormwater staff requested that the pond be redesigned to a dry pond with an outlet to old Dry Creek which required a complete redesign of the system and outfall culverts.
