We are writing this letter to outline why Poudre Valley Air (PVA) is uniquely qualified to address the HVAC system improvements. PVA has unique experience working with the Old Town Library as PVA was the HVAC subcontractor, working for Heath Construction, in the Library Building Expansion project. During this project, PVA retrofitted the existing HVAC system and provided new HVAC duct work throughout the Library. Through use of hiring PVA, the Library will maintain the same installation methods, procedures, and aesthetics as currently exist in the Library. The Library will also be able to ensure a timely delivery schedule as PVA is already familiar with the HVAC system and required installation methods. Additionally, the Library contracted with The Ballard Group (TBG) to review PVA's proposed modifications to the existing duct work. TBG verified the proposed plan and provided recommendations to maximize its effect. PVA has reviewed the changes and will move forward with The Ballard Group's plans dated February 7, 2014, and as attached hereto. Poudre Valley Air has provided a cost estimate to complete this work at a total of $39,280.00. Ditesco has independently verified Poudre Valley Airs cost and believes the proposed cost is reasonable for the work provided. Included in this cost are improvements to the circulation room, circulation offices, community room, and study rooms. Detailed plans are attached to this letter.
