Addendum 2 – 7334 Digital Dome Theater for Discovery Museum Page 3 of 3 Exhibit 2 – Clarification for Project Phasing Although we are seeking a single integrator to deliver the digital dome theater, budgetary constraints dictate that the project be completed, and paid for, in phases. Those phases are as follows: 1. Dome screen design, manufacture, and installation. The integrator will determine the optimum reflectance, color, and other attributes of the screen to match the projection system selected in phase 2. The integrator will be responsible for providing scaffolding for installation of the dome screen. Prior to dome screen installation, the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery will finish installation of sound insulation material. 2. Visual display system engineering and complete installation. Prior to display system installation, the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery will complete all interior construction, including drywall, carpet, and seats, in order to provide a dust-free environment for electronics work. 3. Maintenance package and content package. Each phase will be implemented as funding allows. The Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, upon award of this contract, is financially prepared to proceed with phase 1. We anticipate full funding for all phases to be in place no later than December 31, 2012.
