What are the available hours to work? How early can we start? The hours of operation for the Downtown Transit Center are 7:30am to 5:30 pm. The front and back doors are security access controlled. The contractor will be given a FOB for temporary access to these doors. Thus, the contractor will be allowed to gain entry and work before and after the hours of operation. City staff will supervise. 2. Are the restrooms available to use? Or do we need to supply porta potties? The public restrooms inside the lobby are available for contractor use. 3. Are areas available for material staging, construction waste and recycling, and contractor parking? Approximately four (4) parking spaces behind the building will be dedicated and permitted for contractor use. The total number of parking spaces dedicated for contractor use is negotiable. 4. On front sheet, general note 2 indicates GC to perform all design/build for mechanical, electrical, data, fire alarm/sprinklers. General note 4 Indicates all mech, elec, data, fire alarm/sprinklers by owner. Are mechanical, electrical, data, fire alarm/sprinklers by GC or owner? Mechanical and electrical work is to be design/build by GC. Mechanical work includes the design/build of transfer grills and ductwork from ceiling grid inside space to east wall into lobby above new counter. Electrical work includes electrical outlets. Verify all locations with Owner. The (4) existing 2’x2’ troffers will be reused in the dropped ceiling grid. The existing data in the counters will be reinstalled into the remodeled/relocated casework by Owner. There is no fire alarm/sprinkler modification work included in this project.
