Within the RFP, there is a requirement to provide a customer service line for citizens on the bus for troubleshooting purposes. Is this a major requirement of your solution? Provisioning for customer support assistance is an essential component for our prospective solution. We are expecting a varying amount end-user savvy and want all customers to be able to have access to assistance if needed. Additionally, if equipment/service is malfunctioning, the end-users will need a portal to report this information. One of the largest concerns with not having a customer service line is that these questions/concerns will then be directed towards Bus Operators, Transfort Customer Service Representatives, and other personnel in Transfort Operations. Not only would this be outside of the purview of their job responsibilities, but the perception may be that that the City/Transfort is directly providing this internet service, which may cause individuals to falsely believe we were in violation of C.R.S. 29-27-101. 2. Within the Scope of Work section I show that within Phase 1 you will outfit 5 FleX buses. How many BRT buses will need to be fitted with this solution in Phase 2? Phase 2 of this project will require 6 BRT buses to be outfitted with equipment. 3. What bandwidth do you want to make available to the public download/upload? The goal is to afford our passengers the same “experience” they would have using their own devices on the vehicles. However, this is a bit nebulous as devices/cell coverage vary so greatly. I suspect a good portion of our passengers are Verizon or ATT customers and therefore are accustomed to mostly 4G LTE (actual) speeds along the front range. However, the FLeX travels frequently at 55 MPH and through rural areas at times, so we anticipate this portion of the project to be the more challenging. 4. Please provide a route map for the FleX routes. Flex Route map is attached as Exhibit 2. 5. Does the solution for the MAX BRT need to be the same as for the FleX routes? The solution for MAX BRT and FleX do not need to be the same 6. Does the solution need to include a video surveillance camera and monitor for the bus driver? The solution does not require video surveillance. Transfort buses are all equipped with mobile video at this time. Addendum 1 – 7549 Public WiFi on MAX BRT Page 3 of 3 EXHIBIT 2 – FLEX ROUTE MAP
