The date selected to see all of the City’s elevators is Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 8:30 AM. Please meet in the City Hall parking lot, 300 LaPorte Ave, Fort Collins. 2. Annual testing and 5 year testing and inspection 2. When and which elevators are due for the 5 year 3rd Party inspection? 20 elevators were tested in 2013(from the list in the RFP #1 through # 21. 4 elevators are to be tested (#22 to #26) 3. In the case of the Parking Garage’s – are there any other elevators exposed to the elements? The elevators in the Recreation Facilities are exposed to pool like environments. 4. How would new elevators be addressed in the annual maintenance contract? Any new elevators would involve a change order to the annual contract. At this time no new elevators are planned. 5. Are any of the older elevators up for modernization? Modernization of elevators would be on a separate contract/purchase order and would be estimated out when a elevator is identified for modernization. 6. Does the City have any problematic elevators? The City’s elevators have been well maintained and at this time no specific elevator has been identified as being problematic. 7. Are any of the elevators as listed single bottom jack? The City does not have any single bottom jack elevators. 8. Who is the City’s Third Party Inspector? A17 Elevator Inspections 9. Who monitors the elevators after hours? Monitoring is provided by four different fire alarm monitoring companies. 10. The phone elevators are connected to whom? The phones are connected to fire alarm monitoring. During the elevator walk on 8/7, it can be confirm for each elevator’s phone.
