Clarification: The Owner of this project is the Poudre River Public Library District. The City of Fort Collins is acting as an agent for the District. 2. Question: Is the anticipated Notice to Proceed (NTP) date a firm date? Answer: No, this date is flexible and will be agreed upon by both the Contractor and Library District. 3. Question: What will be used as a staging area? Answer: It is anticipated that parking spaces on Olive Street will be used for staging area. The selected Contractor is responsible for contacting parking services, procuring permits for these parking spaces, and including the pricing for the permits within the base bid. 4. Question: What is included in the electrical packages (base bid vs. alternate)? Answer: The base bid includes the uplights for the Annie boulders. This work includes all material procurement and installation, trenching, conduit, wiring, and termination related to the uplights at the Annie boulders. The Lighting Alternate includes all material procurement and installation, trenching, conduit, wiring, and termination related to the installation of the pedestrian poles and Tivoli light strands. The Stage Alternate includes all material procurement and installation, trenching, conduit, wiring, and termination related to the installation of the Stage work. 5. Question: Who is responsible for tree trimming? Answer: The Contractor will be responsible for tree trimming. All tree trimming must be coordinated with the City of Fort Collins Forestry Department and must conform to the project plans and specifications. 6. Question: Will the asphalt driveway be available to the selected Contractor for drive access? Answer: Yes, the selected Contractor may use the asphalt driveway for site access. However, this area will not be available for materials staging. 7. Question: What areas are to be installed at 4” concrete thickness versus 6” concrete thickness as specified on Sheet SD1.0 concrete details 1 and 2? Answer: All concrete shown in the City of Fort Collins right-of-way (shown on sheet S1.0) and the concrete drive access (shown on sheet S2.0) will be installed to a thickness of 6”; all other concrete on the diagonal shall be installed at a 4” thickness.
