Can you tell us who will be on the selection committee? No, the City does not give out that information in advance. 2. No project budget is specified in the RFP. Does the City have a specific number or range in mind? While we have a general estimate of a budget, the purpose of this RFP is to determine competitive and accurate expenses for the work described herein. 3. Task 4: Public Outreach and Engagement discusses outreach to non-English Speaking communities. Can you talk more about what specific communities will need to be engaged and will the selected consultant be responsible for this entire outreach piece of the project? The City will be responsible for identifying and coordinating translation services for public workshops. In addition, the City has a preliminary list of stakeholders to be included in the Update process (outlined in the RFP). The Consultant will be responsible for working with the City to identify any gaps in the stakeholder list and to develop creative and comprehensive public outreach strategies to be implemented by the City and the Consultant. 4. In Tasks 1 and 4 of the Scope of Work, you mention including strategies to reach non-English speaking communities. Should translation services at public meetings be included in the proposal, or is this service that the City would provide? The City will be responsible for identifying and coordinating translation services for public workshops. In addition, the City has a preliminary list of stakeholders to be included in the Update process (outlined in the RFP). The Consultant will be responsible for working with the City to identify any gaps in the stakeholder list and to develop creative and comprehensive public outreach strategies to be implemented by the City and the Consultant. 5. Regarding the List of Project Personnel in the Submittal Requirements section, should we include three references for each person listed in the proposal? Basically what we are asking for here is at least three examples of projects similar to this one that the main professional and technical personnel proposed to work on our project, have previously worked on. And, the contact information for the person we can call or email to verify that experience. 6. In the Submittal Requirements section, you list Methods and Approach as well as Scope of Work Deliverables. Please describe the difference between the two, including which section you would like us to present our proposed scope of work. Addendum 1 – 7559 Bicycle Plan Update Page 3 of 3 For Methods and Approach, we are asking you to describe how you intend to approach the nine Tasks outlined under Scope of Work Considerations, plus the ongoing task of Project Management and Quality Control. For Scope of Work Deliverables, we have given you a Summary of Products/Deliverables; now we want you to describe to us what the resulting Report, etc. we are requesting as output will look like. 7. Does your GIS database contain information such as roadway AADTs, intersection control, bicycle counts, and crash locations and types? Yes, we have GIS data pertaining to traffic lights and stop signs, AADT, crash locations and types. We also have bicycle count data at intersections and trail locations across Fort Collins. This data is not currently geocoded, but it is something we could do to support the analysis. 8. To what extent do you want the consultant to participate in the maintenance and updating of the project website (page)? The City will be responsible for updating and maintaining the project website (fcgov.com/BikePlan). 9. What is the budget for this project? It would be helpful for the proposers to know either a specific amount, a range, or the order of magnitude. While we have a general estimate of a budget, the purpose of this RFP is to determine competitive and accurate expenses for the work described herein. 10. Does the inclusion of covers, table of contents, cover letters, divider pages and required forms count towards the page limit? No. We want the proposers to stay on track and not submit a lot of filler that is not germane. Our preference is that proposals are submitted electronically as opposed to submitting hard copies; that way it is up to the reviewer whether or not they print it out. There is no need to include the RFP or the sample Professional Services Agreement in your submitted proposal. The Vendor Statement is the only required form you need to include in your proposal. If you have samples of previous projects; post them online and give us the link where we can go see them. Covers and divider pages aren’t necessary; a table of contents and an executive-summary type of cover letter is nice and won’t count against your page-count. Also very important to include contact information in a prominent place so we know how to contact you.
