Addendum 1 – Arthur Ditch Bridge Replacement Design Services Page 2 of 2
EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. The RFP mentions that the City of Fort Collins on-call contractor will do the
potholing. In the pre-proposal meeting I thought that it was stated that the consultant
is responsible for potholing. Can you clarify?
For clarification, the RFP is correct. The clarifying response is that The City will
use and manage its on-call potholing contractor for the bridge replacement
project. The consultant will need to incorporate the survey information from the
pothole findings into the design
2. Regarding the Specifications and contract Documents. I’m trying to get a feel for the
amount of effort. A few sub-questions are as follows:
a. Will the CDOT specifications be used as a basis, and the special provision
will revise the CDOT “Green book”?
Yes
b. Will the City supply us with the up-front contract documents and the
consultant will work with the City to add project specific information? This
process is relatively straight-forward and not too labor intensive.
Yes
