Project Description/Scope a. 4,103 s.f., 2‐story office building. b. Slab‐on‐grade c. Solar PV Panels on the building roof and existing shop roof. d. 6‐Geothermal Wells e. Metal Roof f. Fiberglass Windows g. 3‐Trees to be Relocated 2. Availability of Site a. Natural Areas will be on‐site during construction 3. Project Time & Phasing Requirements a. Project scheduled to begin ASAP and completed around the end of February, 2014. 4. LEED/Green Building Materials a. Project has been designed using the LEED Green Building Rating System. i. LEED Gold Certification ii. Blower door test will be conducted at the end of the job. b. Construction Waste Diversion Goal of 75%. i. You will be expected to document your waste diversion using a City of Fort Collins Tracking Form which will be provided. 5. Special Pricing Requirements A. Alternates: a. Pergola including stone column bases, steel column, beams, wood joists, including associated foundation, hardware and finishes. Lump Sum b. Mobilization cost to drill a geothermal test hole to be used for testing before the system is installed. Lump Sum c. Bore 250 L.F. of 4” Telecom from the existing maintenance shop to the west end of the new building, (per drawings). Lump Sum d. Install owner provided PV panels on the existing maintenance shop, (per drawings). Lump Sum B. Unit Prices: a. Geothermal vertical well, grout and piping: L.F. b. Portland cement concrete pavement, 6” thick: S.F. c. Asphaltic concrete pavement, 3” think: S.F. 6. Use of Site During Construction a. No parking on natural areas. Use asphalt parking and designated construction area. 7. Protection of Existing Facilities a. Any landscaping damaged outside of the working area, to be repaired at contractor’s expense. b. Protection of existing trees.
