The City of Fort Collins is rejecting your bid for the above referenced project. In the bid
documents, the City required that each bidder provide proof that that they can
demonstrate experience with re -roofing wood shingled historic structures by providing at
least 3 project references.
The references that you provided did not include three historic structures. After the bid,
the City requested additional examples of recent history of "Historic Preservation" jobs
performed following the Secretary of Interior guidelines. Your firm was unable to
demonstrate the prerequisite level of experience by providing the required number of
relevant references.
Although you were disqualified for this project, we appreciate the time you expended in
preparing the bid. We hope that you continue your interest in the City of Fort Collins'
projects and wish your firm success in the future.

The references that I provided are the closes match to the Old Waterworks Building that we have completed recently.
There are not a lot of these types of projects that come up. Wood shingles are not used on many projects in Colorado.
Thank you,

Hey Jason
Could you send me a few references of some jobs you have dome recently, as in the last 3 (Three) years. The Moot
House isn't a historic building and the jobs you did for the city were small in comparison and 10 plus years old. Could you
please provide us with a recent history of "Historic Preservation" jobs performed following the Secretary of interior
guidelines.
Thanks
Mel
