Reason for change: Implement additional sign types identified in Programming of sign system as anticipated on p. 11 of 17 in the original Services Agreement. 2. Description of Change: Design of signs for 1-25, Mulberry and Prospect; design of parking operational signs; design of Old Town Garage sign for new Remington entry; and a share of fabrication cost of parking garage signs. Details per Scope of Services Addendum document received December 3, 2013 from Jacobs Engineering Group, 3. Change in Contract Cost: $46,000 4. Design of Downtown Wayfinding Signs for Inbound Routes (Historic Downtown Brown Cultural Guide Signs). Based on a concept plan from client, prepare final sign design drawings suitable for a Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) Special Use Permit Application and subsequent bidding and construction. Deliverables: Graphic design layout of five signs, including minor variations on sign types for different arrow directions and mile numbers. Color illustrations and dimensioned drawings with notes as needed for permitting, bidding and construction. - CDOT- standard structure break away mounting drawing for one 1-25 sign (This sign would potentially be installed in two locations.) The items above include one draft for review and a final version. Professional Fee: Not To Exceed ............... .$5,000. Schedule for Delivery of Work: 2 weeks from staff direction following signed Purchase Order Addendum. Fabrication and Installation: N.A., by others: 2. Design of Downtown Parking Operational Signs (Permit and pay information, related restroom and walkway signs for Remington Lot, related parking lot I.D signs, and miscellaneous parking garage signs (entry/exit, rates, speed limits, prohibitions, "take ticket", holiday parking, and minor variations to fit specific circumstances). Based on discussion of a list from client, prepare final sign design drawings consistent with the overall sign system theme, suitable for fabrication and installation. Deliverables: color illustrations, dimensioned drawings with notes, and final art files. Professional fee: Not To Exceed....................................................................$1,500. Schedule for Delivery: One week from staff direction following signed Purchase Order or Addendum. 3. Design, Fabrication and Installation of Old Town Garage Entry I.D. Sign at Remington Entry New Canopy Structure. Adapt design of Mountain Avenue entry I.D. sign to Remington Street entry canopy which is under construction in November 2013. Deliverables: dimensioned drawings with notes suitable for construction, consistent with other entry I.D. signs previously designed; and fabrication and installation. Professional design fee: Not To Exceed...........................................................$2,000. Fabrication and Installation: Not To Exceed.................................................$30,000. Schedule for Delivery: Design drawings 2 weeks from staff direction following signed Purchase Order or Addendum. Fabrication and installation 6 weeks from Notice to Proceed to Contractor. Fabrication and installation dependent on completion of entry canopy construction. 4. Fabrication and Installation of Parking Garage Entry I.D. Signs Fabricate and install three large building identification signs spanning entrances to the Old Town and Civic Center parking garages. This item covers a portion of fabrication and installation cost which exceeds the original contract amount. A previous addendum covered the design cost. Deliverables: Signs installed at Old Town Garage Mountain Avenue entrance and both Civic Center garage entrances.
