1. Reason. for change: Completion of labor force analysis
2. Description of Change: Having detailed information about Fort Collin's occupational
structure can prove valuable when communicating With prospects or planning local training
needs. TIP Will use Complete Employment data from EMSI to profile the City's occupational
structure by Standard Occupational'Ciassification (SOC) code. This analysis will include:
- Top occupations — Which occupations are the largest? The fastest growing?'The
highest earning?
Hard -to -Fill - Which occupations are already hard to fill?
Strengths Where does the City show concentrations of occupations relative to the
US or its peers.?
Proiections — Which bccupations'will be in high demand? What will drive demand —
new growth or replacement need?
Demographics — Which occupations; have an aging workforce? What is the gender
composition?
