EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1. Will there be a demo required?
If questions regarding functionality or adherence to specifications arise, we may
require a detection system be installed and programmed at the City of Fort Collins at
the vendors/manufacturers expense.
2. How will costs be compared between systems?
The response to the RFP should include costs of all equipment necessary to provide
the following capabilities for the complex intersection pictured below.
a. Presence detection for 25 lanes at a 6-leg intersection
b. Volume, occupancy, classification, and speed detection for 25 lanes at a 6-leg
intersection
c. Communication equipment necessary to connect to each camera
d. Equipment necessary to provide full-motion video from each camera
e. Any specialized software necessary for diagnostics, managing data
communication, providing digital video streaming, or remote configuration.
