Thank you for your interest in the City of Fort Collins Art in Public Places Program. We were
delighted to see that you entered several students' designs for consideration for the 2013
Pedestrian Paver Project. We are pleased to announce that the following students' designs
were selected for this project:
Tobi Kropp and Dana Brown
Students whose drawings have been accepted will have their designs digitally scanned,
enlarged, and sandblasted into a 20" granite stone paver. Their name will also be featured on
the granite paver along with the drawing. The completed pavers will be placed in Fort Collins
sidewalks.
Winning drawings/artists will receive a $50 honorarium. A letter and information for receiving the
honorarium will be mailed to individuals whose drawings were selected. We appreciate the time
and effort you put into organizing the students and the submission of their designs. The APP
program is excited to include their work in this project.
Unfortunately, due to the large number of drawings submitted, the Art in Public Places Program
cannot always include all the work they would like. Please inform your students who were not
selected this year.
Please share this with members of your staff who were instrumental in getting so many students
to participate. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Art in Public Places
Coordinator, Ellen Martin at (970) 416-2789 or by email at emartin@fcgov.com. For more
