Existing Shed (shown on sheet 4, under Exhibit 4) is to be relocated approximately 30 foot south of existing location, by the contractor. 2. Entire length of existing asphalt trail will be closed off during construction to allow contractor to remove asphalt trail prior to earthwork and to provide an area for the stripped topsoil new 12’ concrete trail. 3. City of Fort Collins will provide its own traffic control for existing trail closure and detour route of Spring Creek Trail. 4. Construction access to the project is to be north, off of Prospect Road by way of Bay Road, and from the south, off of Drake by way of Red Wing Drive only. 5. VTC has been removed. (See sheet 4, under Exhibit 4) 6. Crusher fines path is to be adjoined to north side of the new concrete trail, eliminating the 1’ shoulder between the two. (See sheets 4,5,6,& 7, under Exhibit 4) 7. Demolition of existing trees should be taken to City of Fort Collins, Forestry Tree Disposal Site, which is located south of the intersection of Prospect and Timberline Roads. 8. Bay Road needs to remain open; both for through traffic and for the Fisheries and Grounds Operations which take place just south of the bridge. However, a closure of Bay Road at the bridge will be permitted and the gate on the south part of the bridge can be shut for that purpose, but it should be for as short of time as possible. To close it, a closure request needs to be made to CSU Facilities Management, complete with a map and a traffic control plan. 9. A City of Fort Collins approved 4,000 psi, 48 Hour High-Early Concrete Mix will be used to pour the widened 8” thick trail crossing at Bay Road. 10. There is no irrigation to establish the revegetated areas. It will rely on Mother Nature to get it established. If the contractor’s revegetation has been done according to specifications, and the seed does not properly geminate due to lack of moisture, the City of Fort Collins will not hold the contractor responsible to reseed. 11. Substantial Completion will be established by the Project Manager once the new 12’ concrete trail can be opened safely for public use. 12. A City of Fort Collins Floodplain Use Permit has already been established for construction in the FEMA regulated floodplain. No other permits are required for construction.
