Professional agrees to perform the services
identified above and on the attached forms in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained
herein and in the Professional Services Agreement
between the parties. In the event of a conflict
between or ambiguity in the terms of the
Professional Services Agreement and this work
order (including the attached forms) the Professional
Services Agreement shall control.
The attached fortes consisting of EXHIBITS A, B and
C, three (3) pages are hereby accepted and
incorporated herein, by this reference, and Notice to
Proceed is hereby given.

SCOPE OF WORK —
PLEASANT VALLEY PIPELINE FOREBAY SEDIMENTATION POND
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
PROJECT OBJECTIVE: Provide better quality raw water through the Pleasant Valley Pipeline
during turbid runoff so that Fort Collins can use as much Poudre River water as is available
under their water rights and not have to bypass the Pleasant Valley Pipeline due to water quality
issues. This issue has become more significant due to the High Park Fire last summer and the
impact to runoff from the Poudre River watershed.
GENERAL
Ayres Associates (Ayres) will provide professional engineering services during construction,
including review of submittals and completed work related to the project. In addition, this scope
of work will include construction testing services from the geotechnical engineers Martinez
Associates and CTLIThompson. Construction Survey will also be included as needed. This
project will be completd using the City of Fort Collins Alternative Product Delivery System
(APDS).
OUTLINE OF WORK TASKS
Field Observation and Weekly Coordination Meetings
• Review of completed earthwork, concrete and liner
• Address construction coordination issues
• Provide supplemental design services as requested
• Attend weekly construction meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Testing
• Material Testing for soils and concrete through geotechnical subconsultants
BILLING AND RATES:
Work will be completed on a time and materials basis up to limit of $49,930. A breakdown of
tasks and estimated effort is attached as Exhibit B. Labor rates will be in accordance with the
City -approved annual rate table, which is attached as Exhibit C. Invoices will be submitted to
the City of Fort Collins not more often than monthly.
SUMMARY OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES
Ayres will provide construction progress meeting agendas and minutes, design drawing
revisions, construction survey and staking, as -built survey, operational plans and other
coordination, design or construction support as needed.
SCHEDULE
• Ayres will begin work upon the start of construction, March 11.
• Sedimentation Pond startup scheduled for June 17'h
• Record drawings, final operational plan and reports to follow construction
