RE: Proposal for Ecological Consulting Professional Services
Biohabitats Proposal No. 13910.01
Dear Mr. Bachand:
This proposal letter is in response to your recent requests for Biohabitats to provide professional
ecological consulting services to assist the City of Port Collins with a variety of project needs at Natural
Area properties along the Cache la Poudre River. As we have discussed, these services will be requested
and authorized by you on an as -needed basis and may include the following items:
• Participation in the Woodward property design development including planting plan
revisions, streambank design, and restoration planning;
• Attendance at consultative meetings;
• Landscape planning conceptual input on visitor experience and recreation amenities for the
McMurry and Sterling projects, and;
• Data evaluation for restoration and management including e.g., groundwater, surface water,
plants and wildlife information; .
The City shall provide in writing specific scope item requests (email is acceptable) that clarify
expectations related to schedule, level of effort, and deliverables. Requested scope items will be charged
on a time and materials basis. We will set a not -to -exceed limit of $8,000.00, based on our current
contract rates: as the City's requests require a level of effort that will approach or exceed this limit, we will
contact you to discuss revising the level of effort or raising the limit.
Thank you for providing us the opportunity to continue to assist the City with these exciting projects.
Please contact me (303 477-0660) if you have any questions or require any additional information.
