It appears the wall-mounted up-lights in the pool room have been replaced relatively recently. Is this correct? If so, can the city provide information on the wattage and lamp type of these new light fixtures? Originally the wall mounted lights were ½ High Pressure Sodium and ½ 400W Metal Halite, but they were later converted to all 400W Metal Halite fixtures. These can still be upgraded to reduce the wattage of the fixtures. 2. The Design Build Agreement Section 3.02-Liquidated Damages states that there will be LD’s on the project. Please clarify what the Liquidated damages will be for each day of delay in meeting Substantial completion and whether there will be a grace period before the LD’s would begin to be applied. The schedule is to have the design completed by mid-October and the building permit issued by early December. Construction is to be substantially complete within 365 calendar days of permit issuance with $500/day LD’s for each additional day beyond this date. Final completion is to be within 30 days of substantial completion with $250/day LD’s for each additional day.
