TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENT GENERATING ECONOMIC RECOVERY (TIGER)
2013 DISCRETIONARY GRANT PROGRAM
CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VINE/LEMAY GRADE SEPARATION AND REALIGNMENT
SCOPE OF WORK
May 14, 2013
SCOPE OF WORK
AECOM will organize and lead a collaborative workshop with City Staff and AECOM staff to outline the
proposal. The purpose of the workshop is to develop the core ideas to put into the TIGER grant
application for the Vine/Lemay Realignment and to clarify tasks and responsibilities necessary to meet
the June 3`d application submittal deadline. These assignments will include focused research and writing
tasks for City Personnel and AECOM staff members. The workshop will occur on Thursday, May 16,
2013 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
AECOM, Alan Eckman and Brian Kennedy, will lead the workshop, compile input from the City of Fort
Collins and prepare the grant application. It is expected that City staff will prepare at least some
portions of the written assignments resulting from the workshop. The application format will follow the
1-2S/SH 392 TIGER grant document prepared by AECOM in 2012.
AECOM will provide supplemental technical analysis necessary to support the City of Fort Collins input.
This analysis is expected to focus on traffic, circulation, safety and economic development issues,
clarification of the project's purpose and needs, and how the proposed improvements achieve the TIGER
grant objectives. The analysis will only be brief and that which can be accomplished relatively quickly.
AECOM will support this analysis up to the hours that have been included in the fee estimate.
AECOM will prepare a rendering of the overpass in sketch form for the project.
AECOM will produce some new customized maps, graphics and text for the application. Following
review of the draft application, AECOM will make final changes for submittal via Grants.gov. City staff
will make the final submittal. Detailed design work for the grant application is not included.
