Scope of Services: See attached scope of service. Service Provider agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached forms in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Services Agreement between the parties. In the event of a conflict between or ambiguity in the terms of the Services Agreement and this work order (including the attached forms), the Services Agreement shall control. College Avenue West Access Drive Civil Site Engineering and Design Services Dear Kyle, Attached is the project scope and fee estimates based on our discussions for the project. Description Interwest Consulting Group (Interwest) will provide civil engineering services for the design of a west access drive between Hickory Street and 1505 N. College Avenue. The access drive will include a short extension of Hibdon Court (approx. 300 LF), a 24-foot wide paved drive in a Public Access Easement (approx. 1,600 LF) and portions of private driveway connections. See attached Exhibit. This scope will also include a topographic survey by King Surveyors. Scope of Services Topographic and Utility Survey — King Surveyors will complete a topographic design survey tied to City Ground Master of the project area as required to complete the design phase of the project. The survey limits are as generally shown on the attached Exhibit. Estimated Fee: $4,800 Easements — The City Surveyor will provide permanent and temporary construction Legal Descriptions for recordation. This would include the Hibdon Court Right -of -Way, a Public Access Easement across multiple lots, and any Temporary Construction Easements (TCE's) deemed to be necessary. Interwest will provide the corresponding Exhibits to accompany the Legal Descriptions. At this time, we anticipate approximately 8 separate Legal Descriptions for the project; however, the final number will be determined with the final design and based on criteria from the City Surveyor. Estimated Fee: $400 each x 8 = ,S3,200 Engineering Documents — Interwest will prepare a complete set of plans including Hibdon Court and private drive grading plans, demolition/removal plans, Hibdon flowline profiles, cost estimates, general notes, details and typical sections for construction of the access drives. Construction details will be provided for required cul-de-sacs and/or hammerhead turnaround areas. A new driveway connection is required at the connection to Hickory Street. No utility work is anticipated. Estimated Fee: $15,500 Drainage Design— Interwest will prepare plans and details for the anticipated crossing of the old Dry Creek Ditch. This task will also include a grading plan to reflect a temporary detention or Water Quality Capture Volume (WQCV) area to be constructed on City owned property, if deemed necessary. Interwest will prepare a brief Drainage Letter reflecting the intent of the proposed drainage patterns to remain in their current configurations, areas of increased impervious pavement and calculations for the required WQCV to be provided in the temporary pond or potential pervious concrete edge treatments. No additional drainage facility designs are anticipated. Estimated Fee: $4,250 Bid Documents and Specifications — Interwest will work with the City to provide documents for contractor bidding. This will include bid tabulations, working with the City to organize a project manual, attendance at a pre -bid meeting, and assistance reviewing bids. Project Special Provisions will be provided for any bid items that are being modified from a standard CDOT or LCUASS specification. A recent version of a city project specification package will be provided in Word format for modification by Interwest. Estimated Fee: S4,500 SWIVIP — Interwest will prepare an erosion control plan and a stormwater management plan for the initial application to the State for the project. The contractor will then take ownership of the.SWMP until completion of the project. Estimated Fee: $2,000 Construction Services — Interwest will provide the following construction services after plan approval: 1. Answer Contractor questions and RFI's. 2. Review Shop Drawings. 3. Three (3) Site Visits during construction 4. Drainage Certification (as built survey information obtained from contractor's surveyor) Estimated Fee: $3,250 Reimbursable Expenses — for prints, mileage, and deliveries, etc... Estimated Fee: $500 Assumptions 1. No private utility locates, utility designs or potholes are anticipated at this time 2. No additional drainage system design is anticipated other than the Dry Creek Ditch crossing and a potential temporary detention or WQCV pond immediately west of Hibdon Court on city property. 3. Separate public outreach or hearings are not anticipated beyond those performed for the N. College Conifer to Willox project 4. Structural detailing is not anticipated or will be performed by others 5. A pavement section will be provided by the City for Hibdon Court and the private access drives 6. No environmental, geotechnical, traffic, landscape design or irrigation services are anticipated 7. Property owner meetings and negotiations will be performed by the city 8. Individual Property Mitigation Plans are not anticipated 9. Meetings, coordination and/or document submittals to CDOT are not anticipated 10. Engineering design documents for the Car Wash drive extension are excluded at this time Schedule We would anticipate approximately 3 weeks from authorization to proceed for completion of the topographic survey and an additional 2-3 weeks for the initial document preparation.
