We understand the proposed construction will consist of several additions and associated parking areas. Additions will include multi -purpose rooms, restroom, wellness center, fitness center, and administrative office additions. Based on our understanding of the project, we propose conducting five borings for the additions and seven borings in the area of the parking lot, conducting a laboratory testing program and provide you a report with our design recommendations and construction criteria for the new construction. The borings will extend to depths ranging from 10 to 30 feet or to auger refusal. Laboratory testing will be selected based on soil/bedrock conditions encountered. Testing will likely Included dry density, moisture content, swell -consolidation, Atterberg limits, particle -size analysis, and water-soluble sulfate tests. We estimate our fee for this investigation will not exceed $4,400. Our fee estimate is based on our unit rates from our existing contract with the City of Fort Collins (2012) for on -call services. We understand the fee estimate we are providing will be used for budgetary purposes and to issue a work order. We can begin work on this project immediately and anticipate completion within four to six weeks of your notice to proceed.
