Design/Build - Scope of Work Proposal:
Services to be included under this scope of work are as follows:
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT —
Based on a previously submitted concept drawings and discussions with client, all aesthetic, functional
and code related design considerations are developed and implemented in the DD package. Entry
features are fully rendered in 2D/3D to convey the aesthetic quality and nature of the designs.
Client to review/comment/approve package to move us to the fabrication phase. One (1) round of
minor (max. 25%) revision of the final design is included.
Deliverable:
Full -color 11" x 17".pdf Design Development Package and revision (if required) - Up to four (4) hard
copies with matching digital files in .pdf format.
DESIGN INTENT —
Design Development drawings are fully detailed as to materials, finishes and dimensions including
sections and 3D/exploded views as required to convey full intent. The Jacobs project team will work
collaboratively to insure the completeness of this package. One (1) round of minor (max. 10%) revision
of the final details is included.
Deliverable:
Full-color/B&W 11" x 17" .pdf Design Intent Package - Up to four (4) hard copies with matching digital
files in .pdf format. Boyd Sign Systems phased Fabrication & Installation Proposal based on Jacobs
Design Intent Package to be provided with final deliverable.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION —
Jacobs staff will oversee and direct all fabrication and installation efforts of Boyd Sign Systems including
the review/comment/approval of all relevant samples and prototypes as agreed upon with client.
Jacobs staff will punch list all final fabrications and installations and coordinate necessary re -work as
required until final client sign offs are obtained.
Deliverable:
As -Built Drawing Package reflecting any final fabrication & installations changes and notes. Up to four (4)
hard copies with applicable digital files. Full-color/B&W 11" x 17" .pdf

Boyd Sign Systems Proposal to follow will be based upon Jacobs Design Intent Drawings.
Engineering, Fabrication & Installation costs and scheduling are not included in this proposal.
FABRICATION — Utilizing Jacobs Design Intent drawings and augmenting with their own shop drawing as
required, Boyd Sign Systems will fabricate four (4) entry features. Full compliance with ADA/ANSI 117.1,
National Electric Code and UL requirements as necessary. All materials and finishes will be as specified
within the Design Intent package.
Deliverable:
Four (4) each fabricated entry feature units.
INSTALLATION —
Delivery to site and installation of four (4) each entry feature units. City to provide all required sign
permits & sidewalk closure/road closure permits as required unless otherwise negotiated. Electrical to
sign locations by City of Fort Collins. All final electrical hookups by the City of Fort Collins
NOTE: As -Built Package is not delivered until final client sign -off on fabrication and installation phases
and constitutes the final deliverable of this project.
Professional Fee for this Scope of Work: $5,885.00
Delivery of Work: As this is added scope and to avoid interruption of existing contracted work delivery
is set at 6-8 weeks from receipt of signed proposal. However, understanding the fit of these elements
with the overall program, every effort will be made to finish design work earlier.
