Dear Mr. Driver,
Please let this serve to formalize the following Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement dated
July 14, 2008 (the "Agreement").
Section 2 Contract period is amended to extend the contract until December 31, 2013.
Section 6 is amended to add an additional $25,000 to the project cost for services related to High Park
Fire Recovery.
Exhibit A is amended to add the following to the Scope of Work:
Professional will provide High Park Fire Water Quality Recovery advocacy on behalf of the City of Fort
Collins to include:
The professional will communicate with Fort Collins' staff on a regular basis to provide updates and to
provide strategic counsel and assistance for short and long term federal funding. Specifically we need the
USDA through the NRCS to take the lead for soil remediation. We also seek support to mitigate binned
areas in the Little South drainage area. This area will continue to plague the City of Fort Collins Water
Supply for many years if we do not stabilize soils. The assistance primarily will focus on outreach to
Congressional staff at the local level as well as meetings with key state officials, in particular Governor
John Hickenlooper and his senior staff.
The professional and appropriate City representatives will develop key messages to share with elected
officials and staff. The professional will keep City staff apprised of the financial status of the project in
order to maximize effective deployment of resources.
All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in frill force and effect. The City looks forward to
continuing to work with Patton Boggs.
