Dear Resident:
On Tuesday, July 30, 1991, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at The John the 23rd Center*,
1220 University Avenue, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold
a public information meeting to discuss a new development in your neighborhood.
The proposed development is Amigos Restaurant. The location is 1015 South
Shields Street, which is currently a Texaco Service Station. The site is .59
acre. The proposed restaurant would measure approximately 1,600 square feet and
feature a drive-thru lane and outdoor dining patio.
As proposed, the restaurant would be confined to the existing Texaco site and
would not encroach on the vacant parcel at the northwest corner of Shields and
University.
This will be the second neighborhood meeting for Amigos in this area. On August
21, 1990, a neighborhood meeting was held to discuss a proposed Amigos on the
southwest corner of Shields and University. This proposal was never submitted
to the Planning Department for review.
The list of affected property owners for this public information meeting is
derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag
time between home occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations,
a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify
your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity
to attend.
