Dear Resident:
On Wednesday, March 20, 1991, from 7: 00 - 9: 00 p.m., at the Johnson
Elementary School*, 4101 Seneca Street, the City of Fort Collins
Planning Department will hold a public information meeting to
discuss a new Elementary School proposed in your neighborhood.
The new school is referred to as the 1992 Southwest Elementary
School. The proposed location is on property formerly owned by
Front Range Community College and recently purchased by Poudre R-1
School District. Specifically, this location is south of Harmony
Road and west of Crest Road. The site consists of approximately 8
acres.
The reason the meeting will be held at Johnson School is because
the new school will be very similar to Johnson Elementary.
Representatives from Poudre R-1 School District, along with the
architect, will provide information about the new school.
Following the presentation, school officials and the architect
would like to hear your comments or concerns, as well as answer any
questions regarding this new school. Residents with school -aged
children are especially encouraged to attend.
The list of affected property owners for this public information
meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County
Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected
property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify
your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the
opportunity to attend.
