In response to your letter of April 20 concerning the requested easements for
CDOT's new maintenance facility, Jack Gianola will work with Muller Engineering through
the City's planning process to address the easement needs for your project. The final
easement alignments will be dedicated on the Replat of Lots 3, 4 and 5 East Vine Streets
Facility P.U.D. Jack and I do not anticipate any problems. If you have any concerns, feel
free to give either of us a call.

Dear Ron;
The Colorado Department of Transportation is planning to submit the Development
Proposal package for our new maintenance facility to the planning office on May 6,
1998. Part of our planned construction will be to install several utilities across City of Ft.
Collins property.
Per our telephone conversation today, I am requesting that you provide me with a letter
of intent to provide the necessary easements for those installations. We will be installing
water and storm sewer along the south side of that part of Lot 4 that the city will retain;
gas will be brought in across the south side of Lot 5 from the line in Linden St.; sanitary
sewer will be extended due north from the end of the newly installed line on the New
Belgium Brewery site; electric and telephone will run north to the new building from the
present lines along the southern line of the city's ownership. An easement will also be
needed for the access road from Linden to the property. ,
