We have been working with CDOT over the last couple years in which they are interested in purchasing some property from us on our site for their use. They want to relocate their existing operation just north of our site across Vine Street to this new location. We need their property for the extension of Linden to the north. We are making our second submittal today and with that submittal will be showing some items we would like to do on our site but were in conflict with some comments that were on the first submittal from the CDOT project adjacent to our site. (Mike Ludwig was the planner for their project). We would like to boordinate our common issues and let you know what they are: r 11 a request for a pedestrain sidewalk from Linden to the existing site and from 9th Street to the main entrance of our existing site. This issue has been worked out between Eric B, Kathleen R, and Larry S-we will not need the sidewalk from Linden to the existing site, but will be constructing the sidewalk from 9th to e existing main entrance. 2)our plan will be showing a 6 foot chain link fence around our site one foot off the property line with a five oot landscaping buffer between this fence and our pavement. We would like this same detail to apply on the CDOT site. This fence is needed for security. Our current site has this type of fence. On the CDOT submittal this fence was requested to be a 6 foot wood fence and placed 5 feet off the property line with a landscape buffer outside the fence. This will not work on this site as our north property line is the BNRR ROW which acts as a buffer from the north. We would like this same detail be applied to the west and outh property lines, also. 3ve will be installing a security gate on the existing access road on our west property line, which, also, is e west property line of the CDOT site. Our current site is totally secure and we would like to continue this situation on our new site and CDOT's site. The CDOT submittal said we could not install this security gate. Our access road is considered a private road. Also, their was a request that curb and gutter be installed on our access road- again, this is a private road and we have reviewed this item with Eric B, Larry S. and Gary D. If this is confusing, we are available to meet with you. We, again, are trying to coordinfile the two submittals as our two sites have several items in common in which they have the opportunity to use our site for their activities. This is the main reason they want to relocate next to our operation. Jack G. CC: Eric Bracke, Larry Schneider -- IIAKE J`vtiE 7711-r ,rhaus C/N cti 7/IC Penn/.-_
