HomeMy WebLinkAbout420 424 W OAK ST AND 120 S SHERWOOD ST PUD PRELIMINARY - 40 92A - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGCommis .y Planning and Environmental rvices Planning Department City of Fort Collins July 31, 1992 Dear Resident: On Tuesday, August 11, 1992, from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M., at the Central Conference Room, 281 North College Avenue*, the City of Fort Collins Planning Department will hold a neighborhood information meeting to discuss two development proposals in your neighborhood. The projects are known as 400 West Mountain/Oak Neighborhood Association Overall Development Plan and 424 West Oak Planned Unit Development. A request has been submitted to the City for an Overall Development Plan (ODP) review for a half city block, bounded by West Mountain Avenue to the north, West Oak Street to the south, Sherwood Street to the west, and the alley to the east. This ODP is intending to create other allowable land uses, in addition to existing low density residential, in the area previously described. Also to be discussed is a request to convert a portion of 424 West Oak Street into office use. A portion of the existing structure is intended to remain as residential. This proposal is known as the 424 West Oak Planned Unit Development, preliminary. Both of these requests will be reviewed by City Departments and pertinent outside reviewing agencies, with the final decisions being given by the Planning and Zoning Board. Please enter the building by the south set of doors off North College Avenue. The conference room is on the main floor, at the end of the hallway. Signs will be provided to assist you. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important element in the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend this informational meeting, written comments are welcome.
