Contract extension to December 31, 2013 and additional funds: $25,000
Dear Aaron:
Thank you for extending our contract for the Planning and Engineering Consultant On -Call through
the end of 2013. We acknowledge that the rates submitted with the original contract for 2012 will
not change. Attached is a scope of work that describes the tasks anticipated. Please let me know if

The City of Fort Collins, Colorado has
contracted with Atkins to perform
Transportation Planning Studies and related
analyses to evaluate long range and short term
multi -modal transportation needs. Assignments
or tasks will be assigned on an as needed basis.
Atkins will provide assistance in implementation
of action items in the Transportation Master
Plan, the Pedestrian Plan, and the Bicycle Plan,
including but not limited to the following items:
• Project management and coordination
• Developing the scope and fee for various
projects
• Data collection
• Socio-economic data preparation and
analysis
• Traffic and transit forecasting and modeling
(system level, subarea and microsimulation,
visual simulations)
• Corridor studies
• Project cost estimates and financial planning
• Innovative finance
• Public participation
• Preliminary engineering
• Regional planning and development
• Environmental assessment
• Multimodal planning (freight, bicycle,
pedestrian, transit etc.)
• Urban design, imaging and rendering
• Other related assignments
Tracking of Tasks
As previously stated, assignments or tasks will
be assigned on an as needed basis. As tasks
are assigned by the City, the Atkins Project
Director will track all items and report monthly
to the City Project Manager the financial status
of the task order.
Contract data
Contract value: $25,000
Duration: For budgeting and scheduling
purposes, duration of 12 months is assumed for
this task order (through December 31, 2013).
This is a one year agreement but, at the option
of the City, the Agreement may be extended for
additional one year periods not to exceed four
(A) additional one year periods.
This is the first year extension, adding an
additional $25,000,
