EXHIBIT 1 – QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q. Regarding page 7 of the RFP, Section IV. Requested Services, we have the
following questions:
1. Architectural Historical Preservation Specialist (item 3).
a. If we understood the probable or possible projects that this specialist
would work on then we are more able to determine an appropriate
consultant to include on our team.
b. Can you provide a little more information on the types of projects that
might include this service specialist?
2. Recreation/Aquatics Design/Engineering Consultant (item 15).
a. If we understand the probably or possible projects that these specialists
would work on then we are more able to determine appropriate
consultants to include on our team.
b. Can you provide a little more information on the types of projects that
might include these service specialists?
Has supplementary information regarding this RFP been issued or do you expect to
issue any?
A. No additional information will be issued relative to the types of, or probable
projects, in which a Historical Preservation Specialist and/or Aquatics
Design/Engineering consultant would be involved. There are no immediate or
pending projects the City is anticipating at this time that require the need for
these professional services, however projects utilizing these types of services
have come up in the past. Although specialization in these areas by sub-
consultants may only be requested/required occasionally we would like a
specialist to be identified in your proposal.
Q. If we are not sure of a sub-consultant at this time can we list more than one?
A. Answer: Yes. For instance, listing two structural engineers is applicable. Same
with any other sub-consultants.
