Required columns in the Appendix A spreadsheet were hidden, locked, or otherwise unavailable for proposers to use. 1.A. See Additions & Clarifications #2 and #3, above. 2.Q. Page 24 of 37 (in the original RFP document) states that the maximum page count for the proposal is 25 pages. Does that number include the requirements matrix which could be quite lengthy on 8.5x11 paper? 2.A. We would like to keep the primary information to 25 pages. By that we mean the following: dialog about your software, your Appendix A spreadsheet comments, your installation and ongoing support discussion, and the cost estimate. The remaining information (resumes, company profile/accomplishments/experience, current workload, org chart, availability, etc) can take additional pages. Please organize your proposal in the following order: primary product discussion, Functional Requirements spreadsheet and comments, installation discussion, on-going maintenance discussion, cost submittal, and lastly the “remaining” information (resumes, company profile/accomplishments, etc). Please keep the “remaining” information brief. 3.Q. If we submit our proposal electronically, are any paper copies required? 3.A. If you reply electronically, no paper copies are required. Traffic Operations would prefer electronic submittals. E-mailed submittals are to be submitted to purchasing@fcgov.com and must be received by 3:00 p.m. our clock on the revised date indicated above. 4.Q. Will the intersection software provider be responsible for system compliance and integration for all existing 2070L controllers with different OS/9 versions as well as both 4 Mb and 8 Mb CPU modules? 4.A. Yes the software provider will be responsible for making their software work properly in our existing controllers. We recognize that the existing operating system in our controllers might be partially or fully incompatible with newer controller firmware and as such understand that our controller operating system or the controller itself may need to be upgraded. For economics reasons we are choosing not to upgrade our existing controllers unless they have to be upgraded. We do not want to exclude any signal system software from bidding so we can determine the best product available for our needs. If new operating system software must be installed or if completely new 2070 controllers are necessary, please provide discussion why and add the additional costs as separate line items in the bid. 5.Q. How many day plans do you run (weekday and weekend)? What’s the average number of plans for the 20 intersections to be implemented in phase 2? Addendum 1 – 7381 ATIS Page 4 of 4 5.A. We currently run one FREE plan and four coordinated plans (AM, Midday, PM, Off- peak). Weekend timings are handled by one or more of the weekday plans. All five of the above plans are implemented and operating on a daily basis and will be at the phase 2 intersections. The following is the typical Time of Day schedule currently implemented: Timing Plan Day of Week Cycle Length Hours of Operation AM Peak Monday ‐ Friday 110 sec 6:45 am – 11:00 am Midday Monday – Friday Saturday Sunday 120 sec 11:00 am – 3:00 pm 9:30 am – 7:30 pm 10:30 am – 6:30 pm PM Peak Monday – Friday 120 sec 3:00 pm – 7:45 pm Off‐Peak Monday – Friday Saturday Sunday 85 sec 6:00 am – 6:45 am and 7:45 pm – 10:30 pm 7:00 am – 9:30 am and 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm 7:45 am – 10:30 am and 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm
