S23,300.00 ADDITIONAL INFO COMPUTER INPUT INFORMATION: VENDOR# REQUISITION # DATE ENTERED: October 17, 2012 Mr. Ethan Cozzens City of Fort Collins Operations Services Nix Farm Office Building Project Description and Scope of Services Dear Ethan - Attached is our initial project scope and description that we discussed: Description el� INTHRW HST CON S U LT I N G GROUP btterwest will provide engineering services for the development of a 4,000 square foot building within the Nix Fann facility. The location of the building will be to the west of the existing maintenance building (per the CRT sketch. The project will need to go through the City's development review process as a Major Amendment, but will not be replatted. Scope of Services Traffic Study - At this time, it appears that the traffic study requirement will be waived. Worst case, we assume that all that would be required is a trip generation calculation and a memo to the City. ELB Engineering can prepare this document (if required) for the fee below. Estimated Fee: $1,300 Topographic Survey with Platted Property and -Easement -_Lines;" King Surveyors will provide a topographic survey of the building area, existing p'o'nd, and Elie land not and south of the maintenance facility (so sewer can be studied). Additionally, King will show all of the platted lot lines and easements within the same area. Estimated Fee: $3,200 Legal Desc_riptions-and -Exhibits - The property will not be replatted with the project. If any existing easements need to be vacated to make room for the proposed building, King Surveyors will provide legal descriptions and exhibits for the proposed vacations. At this time, an allowance for 1 legal descriptions in included Estimated Fee: $400 SD/DD'CNil Design - Interwest will work with ALM to create conceptual utility service, drainage and grading plans for the project. Estimated Fee: $2,000 Civil _Construction :Dq"cunwnts _�aAfter the completion of the SD/DD phase of design, Interwest will prepare final construction documents that will be used for the City development review processes as well as the bidding of the project. This phase of design will include the preparation of a standard City of Fort Collins Drainage Report, and construction plans including a cover, general notes, final utility plan, final grading plan, drainage and erosion control plan and construction details. Specifications will not be included. Construction notes and details will be provided in the documents. The plans will be "standalone" for the City approval and will be included with the architect's drawings for the bidding of the project. The Contractor's will be responsible for providing an as built survey of the improvements. Interwest will be available to answer contractor questions, but site visits during construction are not anticipated. Estimated Fee: $2,000 �R6hbtimables7 for prints, mileage, and deliveries, etc.. Estimated Fee: $400 Assumptions- 1. Specifications, quantities, and contract documents will be provided by others. All utility construction will be in accordance with the City's standards and specifications. Any earthwork will be in accordance with the soils report. 2. No boundary survey or platting is currently anticipated. 3. Environmental, structural, traffic and geotechnical engineering provided by others. 4. All surveying services except as specified are provided by others. 5. No CA or CM work is included. 6. Survey for Record Drawings will be provided by the Contractor. 7. Stormwater Management Plan and Discharge Permit will not be required or will be the responsibility of the contractor (less than 1 acre of disturbance). 8.
