RE: Proposal
Good Morning Susie,
I'll give you a call later this morning. Here's the things I usually need to know in order to figure out what we need to do:
1) How much money are we talking about?
2) Is it a one-time expense, or the tip of the iceberg?
3) What's the source of funding; is it Federal or from a grant, or is it all City money?
Talk to you soon -
Ed

Hi Ed —
If you've got a minute tomorrow, would you give me a call? We're hiring Brendle Group to help us produce a report and
I'm just trying to make sure it gets correctly processed.
Thanks,
Susie

Hi Susie,
That's great news, thanks. Regarding the contract next steps, you might want to check in with your purchasing people
to see if this could just fall under our existing master services agreement with Utilities. If not, from our view for this
dollar amount we'd be okay going straight to a work order/PO and skipping the contract if that works for you. If you
need a contract it's probably best to initiate from your end with city template, that would probably go through
purchasing faster than our template.
Regarding the kick-off, Kirsten can help with scheduling from our end. Is there someone on your end with access to the
calendars for the 3-4 of you from the City that will attend the meeting that she can coordinate with?
Thanks and we're looking forward to working with you on this project.

Hi Judy —
We'd like to accept this proposal. I think the next step is to sign some sort of contract —would that be me or you who
prepares it?
Let's plan on getting this meeting set up at your earliest convenience. It will involve me, Lucinda (except that she's out
of town at a conference next week), and maybe one or two other staff members.
Thanks!
Susie

Hi Susie,
Thanks for your call to Seth yesterday regarding the Plastic Bag Ban policy and needing some support for an upcoming
City Council session on the topic.
Seth and I discussed your call today and Brendle Group would be happy to support your efforts. To that end, I'm
attaching a proposed scope of work and quote.
Please consider this a starting point for discussion based on the notes from your call.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks Susie!
