Purchase Justification
The VanGoTM fleet will be replaced approximately every 4 years, 150,000 miles. Future fleet additions are
required to maintain or slightly increase the number of vehicles in the fleet. Actual purchases will
depend on changes in ridership.

Johnson Auto's offered price is in line with other bids and current estimates. Their pricing is both fair and
reasonable.
Responsible and Responsive Contractor
Johnson Auto has supplied pickups, vans, and automobiles to the City of Fort Collins for many years and
have been providing VanGo vans since 2010. They have been a responsible vendor, often going out of
their way to make sure our automotive needs are met in a timely fashion.
The firm is responsive to requests and does their best to comply'with all requirements.
Their equipment, facility, and personnel are more than adequate to meet the MPO demand. Deliveries
are prompt and requested information is provided as quickly as possible. As noted above, their history of
performance is very good and the firm is not on any declined or suspended listing.
All necessary information has been provided by Johnson Auto.
