DBE
DBE requirements include:
No discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex.
Document sufficient DBE participation to meet the goal (Form 714) or,
alternatively, document adequate good faith efforts to do so (Form 718)
Pay subcontractors with 30 days of receiving payment from the City.
Notify the City if a DBE subcontractor is terminated and strive to engage
another DBE subcontractor.

Contract Times
Substantial Completion:
On or before January 1, 2014
Final Completion:
Within thirty (30) calendar days after Substantial
Completion

Liquidated Damages
Substantial Completion
Thirty-Two Thousand Dollars ($32,000) for each
calendar day or fraction thereof that expires after the
January 1, 2014 deadline.
Final Completion
Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) for each calendar
day or fraction thereof that expires after the thirty (30)
calendar day period for Final Payment and
Acceptance.

Davis Bacon Wages
Minimum wage requirements by

Contractors Qualifications
General Contractor must have at least one project of similar size
and complexity in the past five years.
Superintendent must have managed at least one FTA and Transit
related project that include similar major amenities within the last
ten years.
Project Manager must have been involved in at least two FTA
and Transit related projects within the last ten years with similar
project amenities.
Contractor must hold the appropriate State and/or local licenses
to perform the work.
Superintendent must be designated for the MAX Mason Corridor.

Insurance
General Liability Insurance is required for this project
and must meet the following criteria:
Workers' Compensation insurance with statutory limits as required by
Colorado law.
Employer's Liability insurance with limits of $100,000 per accident,
$500,000 disease aggregate, and $100,000 disease each employee.
Commercial General & Vehicle Liability which shall not be less than
$500,000 combined single limits for bodily injury and property damage.
Railroad $5,000,000 each occurrence and an aggregate limit of at least
$10,000,000.

Deployment of BRT IT Equipment
The City of Fort Collins IT Netcomm team manages a Cisco
network and all proposed network equipment for the BRT
project shall be compatible with the existing IT infrastructure.
GC shall deliver IT network equipment to Netcomm Project
Engineer 120 days prior to the date of systems testing for the
project
IT network equipment shall be configured and connected to the
network by the City IT Netcomm staff.
IT network equipment shall be tested for final acceptance in
collaboration with the GC prior to production
NetComm Project Engineer shall be the point of contact and
provide oversight on all network related work.
