Turnberry Road Assistance
Project Description and Scope of Services
Dear Kyle and Mark,
Attached is the project scope and description that we discussed:
Description
Interwest will provide dra fling and civil engineering services required to com bine existing plan sheets for the
Turnbeny Road project. Interwe st will prepare ( with the assistance of the City) new removal plans, erosion
control plans, new cover, notes and detail sheets, and a design for the south connection of the project. [lines
Irrigation and Ripley Design will provide Irrigation and Landscape Designs for the new " parkways" on the west
side of the project. "rhe base for the new plan sheets will be an aerial photo with right of way and proposed curb
provided by the City.
Scone of Services
Civil Engineering Plans — Intetwest will draft and prepare (with the assistance of the City) the following plans
for the project:
1. Base plan sheet preparation (com bination of right of way, flowlines from City and aerial photos). This
plan will be used for all plan view sheets (removal, erosion control, landscape and irrigation). ($2,500)
2. Cover Sheet with index ($700)
3. General Notes Sheet ($400)
4. Typical Section Slicers ($1,200)
5. Detail Sheets with current details (combinations of the 2 existing plan sets) ($1,800)
6. Removal Plan ($1,500)
7. Erosion Control Plan ($1,500)
8. New plan to r transition connection so uth of the pr eject including horizon tal and vertical design and
striping plan. ($3,000)
9. Meetings and Coordination ($I,600)
10: 4-25 Add: Provide color exhibit for project open house ($1,000)
11. 4-25 Add: Provide plan and profile for 14" AC waterline reconstruction to 12" PVC ($2,000)

Landscape Plans — Ripley Design will prepare new landscape plans for the parkway areas between the existing
pavement and the new roadway from County Club Road to Richard's Lake Road. No other landscape design is
included at this time (all other areas have been designed already).
1. Landscape Design Development ($1,600)
2. Final Landscape Construction Plans, Details, and Notes (no specifications) ($1,800)
3. 4-25 Add: Study and implement enhanced landscaping for the purpose of meeting new City criteria and
minimizing irrigation tap fee ($1,500)
Estimated Fee: $4,900
Irrigation Plans — Hines I n'igation will prepare new irrigation plans for the par kway areas between the existing
pavement and the new roadway from Country Club Road to Richard's Lake Road. No other design is included at
this time (all other areas have been designed alread y or the City will provide for the desi gn using the current
landscape contractor on the existing subdivisions).

Reimbursables— Mileage and prints.

Assumptions—
1 . No surveying services ar e included — all topographi c survey, construction survey, platting and legal
descriptions will be provided by the City.
2. No formal public outreach is included.
3. Specifications, quantities, and contract documents provided by others.
4. Environmental, sbvetural, traffic, electrical, and geoteclmical engineering provided by others.
5. Construction Administration, Construction Management, Record Drawings , and Drainage Certification,
are not included (except as listed).
Schedule
Interwest will begin work on the proje et immediately and intends to meet the City's design schedule For the
project.
