Project Description: Post Design Construction Engineering Support
Scope of Services: This purpose of this work order is to provide as -needed post -design services to the City for the
construction of the two bridge replacement projects. See attached for additional details.
Service Provider agrees to perform the services
identified above and on the attached fors in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained
herein and in the Services Agreement between the
parties. In the event of a conflict between or
ambiguity in the terms of the Services Agreement
and this work order (including the attached forms),
the Services Agreement shall control.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
'l'he Atkins team provides staffing continuity throughout construction with the involvement of the same task leads that
completed the engineering design and plans.
Design engineering support services will involve:
Interpreting project plans
On -site meetings (as needed)
Responding to requests for information (2CI's)
General support (as needed)
Design modifications for minor contractor requested changes or changed field conditions are anticipated and are included in the
engineering support services. All design disciplines are available as needed however; the major activitiesareexpected to involve
the structures, and roadway elements.
Structures — In addition to the support services listed above, Atkins will also provide as directed review support forcontractor
submittals for the structural bridge and culvert elements as defined in the construction plans, project special provisions, and
MOT Standard Specifications for road and Bridge Construction. Anticipated submittals include shop and working drawings,
design calculations, and manufacturer specifications and cut sheets. Shop drawings will be reviewed for general conformance
with the design concept and general compliance with information given in the contract documents. These documents will be
returned and will include a review stamp stating the approval status. Other submittals will also be reviewed in the manner of the
working drawings.
Roadway —Atkins will provide to the contractor and construction personnel, electronic files of the geometric layout and
3D model. This data will be used to ensure the project is staked and constructed correctly and also is used to obtain
additional information where necessary. Additionally, Atkins will respond to contractor questions and modify construction
documents as necessary.
