From: Mark Holdt [mailto:mark@mountainsageconsulting.com] Sent: Wednesday, November 30, 2011 10:04 PM To: Barbara Schoenberger Subject: RE: 7288 fundraising Hi Barbara, I promised you a response today. Unfortunately, my firm is not in a position to respond to your RFP. Given my current client commitments, I would not be able to take on another engagement of this magnitude. I did forward the RFP to a colleague of mine, but she has not yet responded to me. When she does, I will let you know if she is interested. As an observation, one of the challenges in getting consulting firms to respond to your RFP might relate to the resources you have available to compensate them. I can't speak for other firms, but I can say that your fee structure would only be attractive to entry-level consultants, who may lack the expertise to produce a quality feasibility study. If you want a seasoned firm to assist you, you would probably have to increase your compensation in order to attract their interest. I wish you the best of luck with your campaign and appreciate the opportunity to review you RFP. Best Regards, Mark L.
