Dear Dean:
The purpose of this letter is to request additional project budget for work items that Muller Engineering
completed, which we believe are beyond the original scope of the project. This work includes the
following:
1. Assist withNFRMPO TIP Applications
At the request of City staff, Muller Engineering Company prepared intersection analyses and
calculated intersection delay savings (current and future year) for the Horsetoothfrimberline and
Timberline/Kechter intersections. One option was provided for the Timberline/Kechter
intersection and two options were provided for the Horsetoolh/Timberline intersection. This
information was used in thepreparation of the City's CMAO TIP application to the NFRMPO.

2. Prepare Vine/Shields Alternative Analysis
At the request of City staff, Muller Engineering Company evaluated a roundabout option and a
traditional intersection option for the Vine Dr/Shields St intersection. The two options were
evaluated to provide acomparative analysis. The results of the analysis were documented in a
technical memorandum that summarized operational and safety conditions, right-of-way, capital
cost, constructability, and multi -modal considerations.
