Thank you for the opportunity to bid on the City of Fort Collins Fleet Fuel needs for
2012. Hill Petroleum has vast experience in working with various municipalities
throughout Colorado and currently holds the Multiple Assembly of Procurement Officials
(MAPO) and City and County of Denver supply contracts. In addition to the competitive
prices provided herein, Hill Petroleum would provide the highest quality products and
services available in the industry today.
Hill Petroleum drivers are experienced, professional drivers that have been with the
company for a number of years. They are all familiar with the needs and requirements
associated with government entities including safety and regulatory requirements. Tanks
are always gauged (manually) to safeguard against overfilling and checked for water and
containments before and after each delivery and the results are documented on the
delivery receipts.
Hill Petroleum owns and operates bulk terminals in Greeley, Fort Lupton, Fort Morgan
and Arvada, Colorado with a combined capacity of 1.1-million gallons. Hill also keeps
an inventory of storage tanks with capacities of 550 to 12,000 gallons to be utilized by
customers. In cases of emergency, fuel could be sourced from these terminals for rapid
delivery to the Cities facilities. In extreme emergency, such as power outage, Hill
Petroleum has the ability to utilize its fleet of 8-tankwagons to provide on -site fueling.
Hill Petroleum Dispatch is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Hill Petroleum's accounting department is state-of-the-art and will provide next -day
invoicing electronically including Invoice, Bill of Lading and before and after tank
measurements. Historical data is also provided. Daily price reports can be provided
electronically, via FAX, or both.
Hill Petroleum would provide daily pricing for the lowest -priced, approved terminal as
reported by the refiner to Hill via DTN. In addition to daily pricing, Hill has the ability to
offer Fixed Priced and Maximum Price, (Fixed Price with downside protection) contracts.
Prices could be "locked" for any time period from one week to one year.
