IV. SCHEDULE
Notice of Award — approximately a week after opening
Pre -Construction Meeting - Prior to issuing Notice to Proceed
Colorado Stormwater Discharge Permit — Pulled Prior to Starting Construction
Construction - As soon as possible after Notice to Proceed
TIMELINE REQUIREMENTS — Completion Dates for the Project
Substantial Completion — 90 Calendar days
Final Acceptance —15 Calendar days (105 C. day's total)
V. SUMMARY OF WORK
The City of Fort Collins Fossil Creek Trail at Stanton Creek includes erosion control,
minor earthwork, 2 new 30' pedestrian bridges, 1 new 55' pedestrian bridge, 1 new 60'
pedestrian bridge, 10' wide colored concrete trail, 2' & 4' retaining walls, a 4' shadow
box privacy fencing, 4 - 12" & 18" culvert pipes, hydro -seeding and hydro -mulching
for any areas disturbed by construction and surveying.

VI. HIGHLIGHTS FROM GENERAL CONDITIONS AND GENERAL
REQUIREMENTS
Bidder's Qualifications — Note pre -qualification requirements for award of contract including,
but not limited to section 1000, 1.04 Conditions of Work
Superintendents - General Contractor is required to provide a designated full time
superintendent on site at all times that Work is progressing.
Weather Days —As defined in Section 01310 —Construction Schedules. Monthly Anticipated
Calendar Days Lost to Adverse Weather Conditions.
Liquidated Damages - As defined in the Agreement Section 00520.
Warranty — City contract requires a two-year warranty period
Construction Hours - 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except legal Holidays.
Weekend work and Night work may be allowed on a limited basis to
construct improvements to take advantage of favorable weather
conditions.
Construction Surveying - Provided by the City of Fort Collins. See Spec 01340 Survey Data.
Contractor will be responsible for the cost of misplaced or damaged survey monuments,
pins or stakes provided by the City.
Geotechnical and Materials Testing - Provided by Owner. See Spec 01450, 1.02
Project Meeting - Once a week, to be determined.
Progress and Schedule Revisions - Schedules shall be updated weekly.

VIII. TRAFFIC CONTROL AND WORK AREA SAFETY
Traffic Control for the project will be paid for Lump Sum and will include all costs for all
traffic control associated with the project.
The Contractor shall provide, at Contractors expense, all work area safety control devices, such
as barricades and safety fence around all excavations, trenches, and drop-offs.
IX. HIGHLIGHTS FROM PLANS & TECHNICAL SPECS
• Contractor is responsible for all permits required for this Work and the expected times required to
obtain permits. Including but not limited to the following: State of Colorado Stormwater Discharge
Permit. Usually 10 day turn around for permit.
